African Night - The Legend of Jason Cypher

African Night - The Legend of Jason Cypher.
Date: 30th October at Space 2000 barnawa Kaduna by 5pm. Zaria 7th November at Drama village ABU Zaria by 5pm, partnering with department of theater and performing arts.

The inspiration behind African Night came when Jason read a blog post that said " 50 years from now, the valuable African cultures will go extinct". This statement made him think and look at the trends today, he came to a conclusion that it was indeed true because Africa is gradually losing it's cultures and values to the western culture.
Today everyone wants to speak, dress, act and look like an American. We want to eat, feel, build our houses and do lots of things like the white men, it cuts across every aspect of our lives.
According to Jason It is bad that we are trying to improve and upgrade our standard but without realizing it we are forgetting our culture, our values and actually adapting to and adopting theirs. If it was a blend of ours and theirs, we getting a little from their culture to improve ours then it's fine. He potressed a point which talks about the fact that a Black man's idea is not as valuable as a White man's idea. It also goes as far as our tribes, where we give birth to children and we don't teach them our dialect, we don't teach them about their culture, where they are from, the food and dressing of our people.
In 50 years from now, we will have a community of people who cannot speak their languages, which means our culture is gradually fading because of westernization.

The whole essence of African Night- The Legend of Jason Cypher is to encourage people, to help the youths see the importance, the value of the African culture. It is to help them make a decision to embrace and preserve it. It was birthed from to need to awaken our minds to the fact that our culture is good, that we are losing our culture to westernization and we need to go back to our culture, back to our heritage.

In the event there going to performances, art performances, exibition and different vendors will be there selling their products, from African fabrics down to local dishes and paintings. It is going to be an educative session where people learn and know the importance of the African culture.

Shirts go for 3,500 while hoodies go for 5k, to get one you can contact Jason Cypher on his social media handles.

Intimacy By Funom Ft Sheddy Moss

In the words of Funom "Intimacy is a song of expressing my love for Jesus.
It a way of expressing my intimate relationship with my saviour.
Despite my flaws and short coming Christ still love me.
In return I am showing him gratitude by loving him with all my heart and soul."

Intimacy is a song that talks about a fellowship, a relationship with God, intercourse with the Spirit of God.
