Joe Dave

 Meet David Abuh Johnson also know as Joe Dave, he is a Gospel artist. Born on the 6th of September 1995.He is the eldest son out of 7, 5 boys and 2 girls. Was born at Malali in Kaduna where he lived till he finished his Junior secondary school and relocated to Birnin Gwari and continued his senior secondary school at Science School Birnin Gwari and finished in 2010.

Dave furthered his education at School of Health Science and Technology Makarfi Kaduna as an Environmental Health Technician. He also underwent other courses at the United State Institute of Peace where he got certificates in Peace building, Conflicts resolution, Rule of law amongst many others.

He has worked with so many organisations and institutions. He used to be a teacher of mathematics and physics in secondary schools then as at 2010 to 2020.

He also volunteered with the health department of Birnin Gwari Local Govt and has undertaken community based projects too, one of which is the Kaduna State Youth Peace building Academy project which he served as the coordinator. David currently works with a civil society organisation with the name AID Foundation located at Barnawa in Kaduna

Music for him is a call and its hereditary. In every generation of his family, there are music ministers, its an ordination. He started music at a very tender age. It started by him liking music. Joe listened so much, he sang along but the thing was that he couldn't join a choir because he was shy. He had problems communicating and relating with people so he was reserved and It continued until his Dad asked someone to teach him how to play the drums when he was 11.He Iearnt to play the drums and played in the church.

As time went by, He began to sing in the church too and was learning to play other instruments like the recorder. At 17, his passion for music was so strong that he began to read any material that he could lay hands on as far as it was music inclined. This helped him learn sheet music. And there was growth. So many things happened between that time to now, experiences, encounters and revelations that gave him the conviction that this is a call upon his life.

 Dave had his first single in September 2019.

Between September 2019 to now, God has helped tremendously and he was able to produce 6 singles titled,

When asked how the journey has been so far he said "The journey has never been easy but God is helping. in fact God gave me speed.He made provisions. You see when you are starting out, majority will not believe in what you do and as such will not support you. Only a few will.And that is the stage you need consistency and believe in yourself. Many will mock you but laugh at it and continue. It is a stage and a process that must happen". When asked what plans or projects he will be working on this year he said "I am currently planning on doing Video live recordings and a concert this year. And God is already helping".

Meet Joshua Miracle Buki aka PeaceStar,He is From the family of Jang Joshua

They are four, three boys and a girl, he is the third child of the family.Joshua was born on the 9th of December 1996 in Kano State.

PeaceStar is a Hip Hip/Trap artiste that can explore on other genres of music like Afro Beats and RnB , he likes to say his music is a "Self Discovery" allied with Gods direction, inspired by (God)to him. He calls it a "VISUAL EXPRESSION"

Because it tells a story and expresses emotions, it came from a Real Place (REAL MOMENTS). And it's 100% Christian, whether it's talking about, pain, struggles, family or maybe Love.In any direction it's coming from, Christ is the center of it all.

His family moved back to Kaduna in 2008.Since they moved back to Kaduna, he discovered amazing things about himself, his skill,Music and became more Purpose driven.

He stated that "who he is and who he is becoming as a Christian came as a result of his going for Theological studies at Jos in 2015 for more understanding about the bible and to get answers to some questions, it made him to look up to Jesus more.

PeaceStar started Music in the year 2013, but went fully in 2014.That was the year he recorded his second official single "BACKSTAGE" that was nominated in one of the biggest awards in Kaduna known as Gospel lite Music Awards (GOM Awards).

He said "I didn't take the award, nope, but I knew I was made to do more!

Seeing my name in the midst of Artist that started before me and some I look up to such as Nomad, Spokesman, Charles Dogo Fka Fizzikal, Bk, Skull and so on.It was a privilege to be on the same category of "RAP SONG OF THE YEAR" on the awards."

Due to this fact, it made him to work more on himself though the process wasn't  easy he was willing to pay the price to become what God wanted him to be.

In the process of learning he went into music production and he discovered he could sing too.The process is just a means of being something God designed since from the beginning.Challenges are inevitable, you see a lot of times people don't like going through it, but really "without challenges there won't be self discovery" quoted by Peacestar.

PeaceStar learnt new things as he passed through challenges. So He overcame them blindly, not by strength but by Christ Jesus.

 After his album launch, December 17 2017, he dropped 4 singles.

Like PRESSURE 2018, LOOKKA ME NOW 2019, BROKEN 2019, PENDING LETTERS 2020.

 In sharing how he gets inspired to write his songs he said "Most of my songs are written in a real place, real moment, place where is real to me. I write what I see, what I feel, how I feel em, and I say em the way it is. He also filled us in that he and his management (Skibmedia) have couple of great projects coming up this year. With an international collaboration, to an EP project, LP, Album and visuals.

Too Phingers (Two Fingers) is actually a symbol, it stands for Peace & Unity

Lastly his new single,"Aye Day" is said as "Everyday" and is not an acronym.

The song talks more on who we are as Christians, what we stand for and will die for (Christ).

So everyday of our life's we make sure we please God, though we have our ups and downs in our daily livings butIn him we're made perfect not because we have anything to offer but because we have anything to give, actually what we contributed in salvation plan was our weakness as mere men (sin)

Peter Joseph

Meet Peter Joseph, he's 20years old and was born into a family of 8, including his Mom and Dad.His parents were blessed with 6 children, 4boys and 2 girls and he is the 4th child. 

Peter's parents work tirelessly to see to it that their children are all educated and responsible in the community and the world at large. He is an 0 level graduate, finished high school in the year 2017 and is still working towards furthering his studies.  Presently, he works at Clement Colours Art Training Center where they help train and bring up the young upcoming artist and make sure their talents don't die with their child hood. Peter Joseph is a product of clement colours art training center and has been under the mentorship and training of Mr Clement colours for 5years now. He said "there is still a lot to learn though,aside teaching me arts Mr Clement colours has taught me a lot,he is not just a boss but a mentor and he is an inspiration to my arts, presently I serve as a senior apprentice and together with my collogues we learn more every day and at the same time pass the knowledge to the younger students". 

He also said that he makes art because aside it being his hubby it makes him happy and serve as a source of income. He said and I quote "imagine doing something that makes you happy and at the same time you get paid for it   . . 

When asked for how long he has been making beautiful art piece's, he said he has been practicing this hubby for more than 5years now and would say it has really been fun, but getting materials for the works has not been easy for him because the art appreciation here in kaduna town is poor, but he is very passionate about what he does so he has learned not to work for the money.

Peter works to improve himself and to encourage the younger upcoming artist to keep doing what they love and become masters in their hubby, and he believes that together they all can create awareness not just in their community but in the state and country to  give more value to art. In his final words, he said "I don't just want to be an artist with a title I want to be great, I want to teach many and I want to help as many as I can to live happily, that is why I want to keep inspiring both young and old that there is a refined joy and happiness in doing what one loves.
