What manner of love is this
What kind of expression of love is this
I'm moved to tears
My heart is overwhelmed
So much emotions springing up inside me
I just can't understand
But I know I don't need to understand
So I embrace his love
I let it over take and overwhelm me
So undeserving but still you love me
I wasn't worthy, not qualified for it
But you died on the cross so I can be
You choose me
I wake up everyday to the realization that i am loved
That someone watches over me, he calls me his own
I belong to him
He reminds me that I am beautiful inside out, that he treasures me and I am his most priced possession
I worth more to him than anything in this world
He looks at me everyday with love in his eyes, despite my flaws, despite my wrongs and short comings
He never leaves me nor forsakes me
What more can I ask for, what more do I need
Even in challenges, when i'm faced with so much I can't bear
He steps in, he brings a solution
His healing is always available for me
He strengthens me,teaches me,empowers me and uses me
He relates with me as a Father, a friend, a companion, a lover, an adviser, he is everything I need him to be
He meets me at the point of my need
Oh how great a love
When I can't see anything good in me and about me
He calls me the apple of his eyes, precious in his sight
I see myself through the lenses of his eyes
And I marvel at how he sees me, I can't believe it.
But thanks be to God
For his immeasurable, unending, unconditional and amazing love
I can't imagine life without him, without his love
Because with him I am loved, I am wanted, I am enough, I am precious, I am not judged, I am not condemned
I am who he wants me to be
I am grateful for your love.
